FAQ- Before and While renting a Golf Cart in Key West.
HOW LONG CAN I RENT A GOLF CART?
- Daily rentals, Weekly rentals, and Monthly Rentals, are all available.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO RENT A GOLF CART?
- You MUST be at least 22 years old to rent a golf cart.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO RENT A GOLF CART?
- Renter must be 22 years of age, you must have a Valid Driver's License and a Valid CREDIT CARD (NOT DEBT CARD). All drivers must have a valid auto insurance policy.
HOW DO I PROVIDE PROOF OF INSURANCE?
- You must upload a the policy information before booking the golf cart.
WHO IN MY PARTY IS ALLOWED TO DRIVE THE GOLF CART?
- ALL drivers must meet ALL minimum requirements as the renter and also be listed as an additional driver on the rental agreement.
WHAT IS THE LOCATION TO RENT THE GOLF CART?
- Our carts are located on site of your vacation rental, but we can bring golf cart rental to you.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
- All cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to your booking. Please email or call our manager for assistance. 645-242-8010 or email lindsay@conchcartrentals.com.
WHAT IS THE RESERVATION & REFUND PROTECTION?
- Conch cart Rentals has a 48 hour notice cancellation policy to receive a refund. You are able at booking to select the Reservation & Refund Protection to protect your booking and allow for a cancellation inside the 48 hour policy. You will receive a full BOOKING refund (minus reservation & protection fees)
CAN I HAVE A CAR/CHILD SEAT IN THE CAR? MINIUM AGE TO BE IN A CAR/CHILD SEAT? PROVIDE CAR/CHILD SEATS?
- YES, car seats are required by law for small children. requirements are available at : https://www.flhsmv.gov/safety-center/child-safety/safety-belts-child-restraints/ Conch Cart Rentals has certified car seats for rental.
WHAT KIND OF GAS IS REQUIRED?
- Golf Cart require GAS regular fuel - 87 Octane.
IS FUEL INCLUDED WITH MY GAS GOLF CART RENTAL?
- Your golf cart rental comes with a full tank of fuel. You will need to return the golf cart rental with a FULL tank of approved fuel.
HOW FAST DO THE GOLF CARTS GO?
- Approximately 25-30 mph
CAN I TAKE MY GOLF CART RENTAL TO STOCK ISLAND?
- Yes, but we have restrictions. No Golf Cart is allowed past CVS drug Store on Stock island on US-1. We have maps provided on your golf cart rental.
DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING?
- Yes, All the rules and requirements for cars on the road apply to parking in Key West and Stock Island.
CAN I DRIVE MY GOLF CART ON THE BEACH?
- NO, motor vehicles are not allowed on local beaches anywhere in Key West or Stock island.
WHO DO I CALL ID I HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE GOLF CART RENTAL?
- Please call our Emergency number 645-242-8010. the number is located on the keys and golf cart.
IF I WANT TO EXTEND MY GOLF CART RENTAL, HOW DO I ADD DATES AND TIME?
- Call our number listed for our manager to help extend your booking. 645-242-8010.
HOW DO I RETURN THE GOLF CART RENTAL?
- You will follow the return checklist located on the golf carts webpage link.
CAN I SEE A COPY OF THE WAIVER?
